What does disrupting philanthropy mean to you?
Disrupting philanthropy means shifting from charity to power-sharing. For me, it’s not about giving from a place of excess, it’s about redistributing resources intentionally, equitably, and boldly. It’s questioning who’s been left out and actively working to bring them in. As a someone who’s had to navigate systems that weren’t built for us, I believe in investing in people, ideas, and communities that traditional philanthropy often overlooks. Disruption, in this context, means planting new seeds, not just trimming old branches.
