Why Invest in Black Girls?

Investing in black girls is critical to their well-being and educational journeys.I believe Black girls and women can do anything with financial investments. However, we do not often get the opportunity due to all kinds of -isms. Black Girl Scholarship Fund is designed to disrupt that system and the traditional model of philanthropy.

As a higher education professional, I’ve read many scholarship applications where Black youth are sharing their sob stories. At Black Girl Scholarship Fund, we want to celebrate Black Girls' joy, brilliance, and contributions to society. This scholarship is designed with Black girls in mind and it's unapologetically for black girls.

I invest in Black girls because I believe Black girls are the next generation of change-makers.
